How far is the InterContinental® New York Times Square from the Airport?

The hotel is 30 minutes from LGA, 45 minutes from EWR and 60 minutes from JFK.

Does the InterContinental® New York Times Square provide a shuttle to or from the airport?

The hotel does not provide a shuttle to or from the airport. We recommend renting a car or taking a taxi. The taxi fare is approximately $45.00 each way from LGA and EWR and $80.00 each way from JFK.

Does the InterContinental® New York Times Square have a Rental Car Agency on site?

The hotel does not have a rental car agency on site, however, there is an Alamo and National Car rental located at 332 West 44th Street.

How much is parking at the InterContinental® New York Times Square?

Overnight Valet Parking is temporarily unavailable. Self-Parking is $55+Tax/Daily (SUV/Oversize vehicle is $80+Tax/Daily) available at nearby Parking Garages located on 44th Street between 8th and 9th Ave.

Will the InterContinental® New York Times Square receive packages prior to a guest's arrival?

Yes, the hotel will receive packages prior to a guest's arrival. There is a fee and that will vary depending on the size of the package.

What is your advance booking policy?

If payment cannot be obtained for advanced bookings, the reservation will be cancelled.

Can the hotel hold a package for me? Are there any fees?

Yes, the InterContinental New York Times Square can hold a package on your behalf. Holding envelopes is a complimentary service and packages can be held for a fee according to weight.

Do you offer rollaway beds?

Yes, we offer rollaway beds for $35 daily, only applicable to certain room types and subject to availability.

Can we depart early?

Yes, certain reservations are welcome to depart early for a fee of $200.

Can we checkout late?

Late checkouts are subject to availability and can be accommodated at an additional fee.

Do you offer breakfast at the hotel?

Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 am until 11:00 am at The Stinger. In-Room Dining is available daily from 5:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. 

What Trains/Subways are you nearby?

The InterContinental New York Times Square is located on the corner of 44th and 8th Ave, directly next to the A, C, E subway lines. On the corner of 42nd and 7th Ave you can find the A, C, E, N, Q, R, W, 1, 2, 3, 7 and Shuttle to Grand Central subway lines.

Can you walk to Restaurant Row and the Theater District?

We are located two blocks away from Restaurant Row (46th Street) and directly in the Theater District with some of the top shows less than a block away.

Are you a pet friendly hotel?

Yes, we welcome pets under 50 lbs with a limit to one pet per guest room. $250 cleaning fee per stay.

Can you smoke in the hotel?

The hotel is 100% smoke-free within the building and all guest rooms. A non-refundable cleaning fee of $500.00 to restore the guest room to a smoke-free condition will be applied for guests who do not comply. This also applies to electronic cigarettes and vaporizers.

What is required to check in?

A government issued photo ID is required by all persons to gain access to the room. All guests occupying the room must be notated at check-in in order to reissue keys to all persons. For guests providing credit/debit cards, an authorization will be obtained for accommodation charges for your stay plus $100.00 per day for incidentals. Funds will be unavailable for 3 to 30 days, depending on your bank regulations. The hotel is not responsible or liable for the loss of use of these funds or any overdraft charges.
